Our weaknesses ought to encourage fellowship between believers. While strength breeds an independent spirit, an I don’t need anyone else attitude; our limitations show how much we need each other.

One such example is the confession of sins to another believer – “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16

Furthermore, our weaknesses encourage and increase our capacity for sympathy and ministry. Where we are far more likely to be compassionate and considerate of the weaknesses of others.

This then allows us to have a Christlike ministry on earth.
